Upon our arrival, we will check in to the 5-star hotel. After time to rest from your long flight, we will enjoy a traditional Portuguese welcome dinner. D

May 07 - Lisbon/Sintra/Cascais/Lisbon

A day tour to Sintra, which is a UNESCO World Heritage and Cultural Landscape of Humanity and claimed as the capital of Romanticism. After time in Sintra we will continue our journey through the Serra de Sintra with visits to the Mooish Castle and Palacio da Pena. BLD

May 08 - Lisbon

Today we tour the capital of Portugal featuring  the Palacio de Queluz - frequently compared with Versailles. In the evening, we will enjoy a traditional Portuguese Fado dinner show. BLD

May 09 - Lisbon/Madrid

We will travel to Madrid today. Upon our arrival we will check-in tour our 4-star hotel. This evening we will experience traditional Flamenco. BD

May 10 - Madrid 

A visit to the Royal Palace and the Prada Museum are the highlights today as we continue to enjoy Madrid. After our day of touring, we will delight in a traditional tapas dinner. BLD

May 11 - Madrid/Toledo/Madrid 

We depart on a day tour experience the beautiful city of Toledo and enjoy the Gothic, Moorish and Baroque style this city has to offer. You will have your evening free to enjoy Madrid as you like. BL

May 12 - Madrid/San Sebastian

Today we travel from Madrid to San Sebastian with a lunch stop famous in Spain for its oven roasted lamb. After checking-in to our 4-star hotel you will have the afternoon to relax and in the evening we will enjoy a Basque tapas tour, called Pintxo. BLD

May 13 - San Sebastian

We will spend today in the 2016 European Cultural Capital of San Sebastian as we enjoy a stroll through the Old Town, along the famous Concha Bay and visit the San Telmo Museum to learn about the local Basque culture. In the evening, we will learn even more about Basque culture as we learn to prepare and eat a traditional meal. BLD

May 14 - San Sebastian/Bilbao/San Sebastian

We will take a day tour to Bilbao. We will also visit the Guggenheim Museum which is an architectural landmark designed by Frank Gehry. Upon our return to San Sebastian, we will experience dinner at a Michelin Star restaurant. BD

May 15 - San Sebastian/Rioja Region/San Sebastian

Today is about the local wine produced in the area - Rioja. We will visit a local winery, enjoy lunch and a tasting of the wines. This evening we will truly have a culinary experience at a 3-star Michelin restaurant which sits high above the city and features not only world-class food but an amazing view of the coast. BLD

May 16 - San Sebastian/Barcelona

We travel to the beautiful city of Barcelona today and check-in to the 4-star hotel. In the evening you will have free to rest or explore Barcelona as you please. BL

May 17 - Barcelona

Today we will enjoy the secrets of Barcelona city tour, featuring the Gothic Quarter, Las Rambas and the Catarina Market. You will have the evening to enjoy Barcelona on your own. BL

May 18 - Barcelona/Montserrat/Barcelona

We depart on a day tour to Montserrat where we will visit the Benedict sanctuary, founded in 1025 and provides a mystical backdrop for the Virgin of Montserrat. We will also enjoy a liquor tasting and lunch before returning to our hotel. BLD

May 19 - Barcelona

Gaudi is the focus today as well explore the well known attractions of Barcelona contributed to him and his architecture. Highlights of the tour are the Sagrada Familia, La Predrera, Casa Batllo and Parc Guell. After a day of enjoying the sights, we will enjoy a farewell dinner together along the port of Barcelona. BD

Transfer from the hotel to the airport for our flights back home. B
