Oct. 28 - Lima

Arrive Lima and transfer to luxury accessible hotel.

Oct. 29 - Lima

Tour Lima´s historic center, including the main squares and plazas, Cathedral and historic buildings. We will enjoy lunch at the Larco Museum with time after to explore the collection of Peruvian gold and silver. BL

Oct. 30 - Lima/Cusco/Sacred Valley

Fly to Cusco and transfer to our luxury accessible hotel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. BD

Oct. 31 - Sacred Valley

Explore the impressive village and fortress of Ollantaytambo. We will discover how this fortress stood and was not defeated by the Spanish. BL

Nov. 01 - Sacred Valley 

Today we will visit a local community to interact with local native people. We will participate in some typical activities like food preparation or games. BL

Nov. 02 - Sacred Valley/Machu Picchu/Sacred Valley

Take the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes. Once we arrive to Aguas Calientes, we will take a bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Once in Machu Picchu, you will have access into the city that you will remember for the rest of your life. For the three-hour visit in Machu Picchu, we will provide assistance to go at your own rhythm to make sure you get the most out the tour. After the visit, we will enjoy a buffet lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge hotel located in Machu Picchu. After lunch, will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes. Once in Aguas Calientes you will have two and a half hours to get to explore this cute little town before taking the train back to the hotel. BL

Nov. 03 - Sacred Valley

Today you may rest and recover from the long and active previous day. You may have a late breakfast, have some time to read and/or relax. At mid afternoon we will have the option of visiting the town of Urubamba or simply stay at the hotel. B

Nov. 04 - Sacred Valley/Cusco

Journey back to Cusco. Have your camera ready because landscape is beautiful. On the way we will visit the Sacsayhuaman "speckled falcon" fortress wose precise zigzags of massive stone remain unmoved by the centuries. BL

Nov. 05 - Cusco

Today we will enjoy a city tour of Cusco which includes the Catherdral and the central colonial areas. BL

Nov. 06 - Cusco/Andahualillas/Cusco

Today we will visit Andahuaylillas or "field of copper." It is a small village doted with a benign climate and easy-going people, located south of Cusco. In the classic style of country churches, Andahuaylillas -built by the Jesuits in the late sixteenth century- is a simple construction made of thick adobe mud-brick walls, common in colonial buildings, and features a relatively modest structure: a single nave with a bell tower and a facade with two solid stone columns that stand out against the others around the main entrance.The Andahuaylillas Church was founded in 1580 and houses the so called Andean Sistine Chapel. Nov. 07 - Cusco/Lima

After free time during the morning you will transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima. B

Early flight home.
